POTENTIAL NEW MEMBERS

Welcome to the Recruitment Page for Alpha Delta Pi! We are so excited for recruitment this year and cannot wait to meet you all. We encourage every young woman looking for a home away from home and a support system of inspiring, driven women to participate in formal sorority recruitment. During formal recruitment, you will have the opportunity to meet all 10 chapters in the Panhellenic community and get a glimpse into each of their sisterhoods. By the end of the process, we hope that each and every one of you finds the sorority that is a best fit for you. The relationships you make and experience you have during this process will stay with you throughout your time at Carolina.

Meet our Recruitment Team

Hi everyone! My name is Maggie Ryan, and I am honored to serve as the Alpha Delta Pi’s Vice President of Recruitment. I am majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Chemistry and Spanish for the Medical Professions on the pre-medical track. I chose to run for this position because ADPi has given me incredible friendships, opportunities, and experiences that I wouldn’t change for the world. As an out-of-state student from Indianapolis, Indiana, I was very overwhelmed with the rush process and unsure I would find my place at Carolina. At Alpha Delta Pi, I absolutely found my people and a sense of belonging that made Carolina feel like home from the very beginning. The best advice I can offer PNMs navigating recruitment is to stay true to who you are! Find a community that shares your values and pushes you to grow as a person every single day. Good luck, and enjoy every step of the process!

Hi everyone, my name is Rachel Broughton! I’m a Junior Biology major with minors in Chemistry and Entreprenuership on a pre-dental track. When I am not in the library you can find me playing for the unc club lacrosse team, going for a run or hanging out with my friends. I am the Vice President of Marketing for ADPi this year and I am so excited to be stepping into this role. ADPi has such a special place in my heart as love and sisterhood is at the center of our mission. Over the past 3 and a half years I have found people that have motivated and encouraged me to grow everyday and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Hi! My name is Ella Bucy, and I’m a Management & Society major with double minors in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. I’m so excited to be serving as ADPi’s Recruitment Specialist this year! Through ADPi, I’ve met my best friends and found a community that continually supports, challenges, and inspires me. Being part of this chapter has shaped my college experience in ways I never imagined, and I’m so grateful for the lifelong friendships I’ve made and the memories it has given me. My biggest piece of advice for anyone going through recruitment is not to put too much pressure on yourself. Recruitment should be a fun way to meet new people, so trust your gut and find the house where you feel most comfortable. ADPi felt like that for me from the very beginning, and I can’t wait to help others find that same sense of belonging. I’m so excited to meet you all and share what makes our chapter so special!

I’m incredibly grateful that my recruitment journey brought me home to Alpha Delta Pi. This sisterhood has given me my lifelong best friends, countless memories, and some of the most meaningful moments of my college experience. I’m beyond excited to welcome a new group of women during recruitment in 2026 and can’t wait to share more about what makes ADPi such a special place to call home!

Kate and SG
Hi everyone! My name is Sarah Grace Beauchemin, and I am the Vice President of Membership Experience. I oversee sisterhood events, alumnae engagement, ritual education, and help the new alpha class make a smooth transition into ADPi. Going into rush, I was super nervous about finding my people, but from the moment I had my first conversation at ADPi, I knew there was something different about those girls. They were caring and kind, and it was clear they genuinely loved each of their sisters. For potential new members, I would say to embrace the process and find a place that makes you truly feel seen and loved. It is so important to trust that you will end up where you are meant to be and meet the people who will become your new best friends. I am thrilled to help each new alpha find and develop the same meaningful relationships I found at ADPi.

Vice President of Membership Experience

Hi! My name is Kate Hunter, and I’m honored to serve as Director of New Member Experience this year. In this role, I support and guide new members as they transition into our chapter, helping them feel welcomed, encouraged, and connected from Bid Day on. My best advice for potential new members is to truly lean into the process and use it as an opportunity to build meaningful connections with the many different women you’ll meet. Recruitment can feel intimidating, but I quickly learned it’s a one-of-a-kind experience that allows you to meet incredible women with diverse stories and perspectives. By approaching each house with a positive and open mindset, you’ll not only find the people who make UNC feel like home, but you’ll also create a fun and memorable recruitment experience. I am so thankful for ADPi and the way it has shaped my time here at UNC, and I hope every PNM finds a chapter where they feel just as supported, valued, and a genuine sense of belonging.
